In an effort to boost local business during the busiest shopping weekend of the year, American Express is sponsoring its second annual Small Business Saturday. Sandwiched conveniently between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to spend their cash in locally owned and operated stores, and to spread some financial cheer within their communities.
On the Small Business Saturday Facebook landing page is an app that allows shoppers to enter their zip codes and get a list of
participating local businesses. The New Berry Place, Brix Restaurant and Bisque Beads & Beyond are just some of the businesses in Downtown Pittsfield right up the street from Haddad Subaru that are participating and there are lots more! And when you spend $25 or more at one of the registered businesses, you'll receive a $25 credit on your American Express bill (register your American Express card)! Add to that personalized service, unique offerings - even gift wrapping - and you can see why Small Business Saturday is going to be HUGE!
